Ghostbusters

As far as sequels go, this one wasn’t completely terrible. With an All-Star cast we knew it wasn’t going to completely suck. While Kristen Wiig and Melissa McCarthy were leading the way, Kate McKinnon and Leslie Jones stole the show. They kept me interested when the plot got a little too ridiculous and out of control. Chris Hemsworth, well thank goodness he’s pretty. His character was more obnoxious than anything else, and was probably given too much time.
The story goes along with the original idea and doesn’t really stray too far, just insert females. There were cameos from your favorite original characters, but Bill Murray deserved more character development and more time which was disappointing. Overall, it wasn’t terrible, but I’m not lining up to go see it again, and won’t be ordering it On Demand. If you’re into the original than it’s probably worth the time.
I give it 6 stars out of 10.
