Terminator: Dark Fate

Arnold is back!

Let me preface this review by saying that I was highly skeptical when I found out yet another Terminator movie was being made.  However, once I saw that Arnold Schwarzenegger and Linda Hamilton were going to somehow have roles in it, I instantly became curious!  As it turns out, the movie is a ton of fun and Hamilton and Schwarzenegger flow very well together.

Basically, the plot of the movie is very similar to prior ones where the new Terminator model is after a human who threatens the AI world while an enhanced person (Mackenzie Davis) tries to protect the human.  Sound familiar?

Despite this, the fact that we have Hamilton and Schwarzenegger playing off each other and stealing the movie, is well worth the trip to the theatre and the fact that there were several audience eruptions of applause only echoed my positive sentiment.  It’s definitely not perfect, but a fun blast from the past fr sure.

7/10
