Dark Phoenix

The latest (and probably last) movie in the hit or miss X-Men franchise is Dark Phoenix.  It is the story of Jean Grey whose mutant powers become some of the most powerful in the Universe due to a space explosion in which some pretty powerful space matter invades her body.  With an all-star cast such as this (Michael Fassbender as Magneto, Jennifer Lawrence as Mystique, Jessica Chastain-Vuk, James McAvoy-Professor Charles Xavier, and Sophie Turner as  Jean Grey.  The plot just kind of meanders along and unfortunately is pretty predictable.  That being said, it still was an ok watch and from an action standpoint, one of the best in the series.

With such a great cast, I really wish more were done with them as this had a chance to be special.  I mean, how do you have an Oscar winner in Lawrence for about a total of 5 minutes?  Watch this one when it airs at home.
