Smile 2
Smile 2 is the newest horror film to hit theatres. It’s a sequel to the Smile film from 2022. It’s a film that is not for the faint of heart, but it will resonate well with the horror film fans.
This film follows the story of a huge pop star that is on tour. The evil follows her around and disrupts her life, as it did with the doctor in the first film. The story does have some parallels to the first film. However, this film took everything a step forward. There were more shocks, more surprises, more twists and, yes, more gore.
As well as the first Smile was received, this second film is going to resonate better with audiences. The first film felt a bit rushed compare to the sequel. The story was thought out better. There was more explanation of what was actually happening and even an idea of how to stop it all.
Naomi Scott absolutely knocked it out of the part as the lead. As crazy as this sounds, she also made a some very catchy songs for a pop album. It all sounds a bit odd, but comes together very well. The ending leaves us with an amazing cliff hanger that makes me even more excited for Smile 3.
As long as you can handle the gore, Smile 2 is a must watch. It’s crafted masterfully and combines so many elements of an enjoyable film. Do yourself a favor and go see this one.
