Trolls Band Together
Trolls Band Together is the latest edition in the Trolls collection. It follows Branch as he tries to locate his long-lost brothers so that they can save their brother Floyd. In order to save Floyd, the brothers must sing the perfect melody. Along the way we are introduced to many new characters like Viva, Veneer, Velvet and so many more. The first thing you always notice about the Trolls movies is the music. They often cover old songs, but they always seem to make it their own. Trolls Band Together did not disappoint with the music. There are so many catchy songs including a lot of throwbacks to the boy bands from the past.
One of the best characters from the previous Trolls movie is Tiny Diamond and he is back and bigger than ever. Tiny Diamond is an absolute riot and one of the best characters from Trolls Band Together. And let’s not forget Poppy and Branch, who continue to lead the Trolls on their latest adventure. The voices of Justin Timberlake and Anna Kendrick never disappoint. One of the coolest new parts was the Armadillo Bus, which reminded me a lot of the Cat Bus from My Neighbor Totoro. Some of the new characters were voiced by amazing singers like Camila Cabello, Daveed Diggs and Kid Cudi. We also get some songs from Amy Schumer, who I had no idea could belt out tunes like this.
Trolls Band Together was the best of the three Trolls movies in part because the music was so good. This is a super fun movie that won’t disappoint if you’re into the Trolls movies. I suspect this won’t be the last we see of the Trolls.
